What was the highlight of Apartamentos Vistasol

The room was big and quite comfortable. I was extremely surprised that my apartment was cleaned every two days. We were provided with towels, shower gel & all other necessary appliances such as a hair-dryer, coffee maker etc. It seems to be a standard in similar apartments in Spain. The staff was very nice and the building itself was located on a hill, which separates it from the rest of the city, with a well-kept driveway. Although you cannot park for free on the hill (unless you are very lucky and manage to park in one of few parking spaces available on top), a city parking is located nearby on the foot of the hill with lots of free spaces (at least in winter). Please keep in mind, though, that it's a 3 min stroll uphill. What I also liked is that there's quite a lot of shops nearby, Aldi, TED, so you can buy whatever you want. Magaluf itself is not the nicest place on the planet, it's clearly built for tourists, so one shouldn't expect to mix up with the locals on the streets of a historic old town. Also, some parts of the city are devoid of life as the pubs and services are closed for winter,
The hotel has an aura of a place which is already past it, which left its glory behind. VIstasol is no longer there as some newer apartment block was erected in front of the hotel, blocking the view on the sun & sea (at least part of it). It's apparent that the interior has aged quite much, the room was a bit shabby and worn. Kitchen counter top was broken and glued together, the toaster was completely damaged and when I asked for a replacement, we received another one working only if you kept the button manually pushed all the time while preparing a toast. Since I came to Mallorca to bike and the price was good, I couldn't care less and didn't expect anything better, but I thought it was worth sharing.

What was the highlight of Apartamentos Vistasol
Good
The apartment was well located, there is paid parking and nice view on the sea. The town is very calm (because we travelled in February) and the apartment is located 5 minutes from the beach. There is almost everything you might need in the kitchen, except for basics like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc.
As we were in Magaluf in February, most restaurants and bars around were closed, including the ones in hotel. The rooms were not very clean and if you want clean rooms you have to pay extra.

It was excellent but towels are grey and the door of the shower must be repaired in room 325.
